During this demo, I will show students how to create texture plates LIKE THE ONES I USE IN MY OWN WORK. MAKING YOUR OWN TOOLS IS A GREAT WAY OF MAKING YOUR WORK YOUR OWN, THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS!
Students will be provided with a list of materials and an outline of her process for reference following the demo.

In this two-day workshop, students will explore the process of creating THEIR OWN UNIQUE ceramic transfers using underglaze AND COLORED slip then applying them to A LAARGE SLAB OF CLAY TO MAKE A SET OF SQUARE DISHES.
I will TALK ABOUT THE MATERIALS I USE, DEMONSTRATE HOW I DRAW AND PAINT ON NEWSPRINT AND GUIDE STUDENTS THROUGH THE PROCESS OF MAKING THEIR OWN TRANSFERS. Students will then apply THEIR TRANSFERS to slabs OF CLAY AND cREAte a set of square dishes.
